Our debut collection together, CLASSICS, will be on view at our Market Square M90 showroom at High Point Market this October 13-15, with Mark in attendance to promote the line (launch party sponsored by Traditional Home at 5-7 PM on October 12th).

Mark D. Sikes combines stunning patterns and classic inspirations to create extraordinary spaces for his clients. Mark's talent for mixing American and European, traditional and modern, and new and old sensibilities sets him apart in the interior design world. Mark believes design should be beautiful.

He brings the same philosophy to CLASSICS, the debut lighting collection by Mark D. Sikes for Hudson Valley Lighting. The CLASSICS line mixes traditional shapes with fresh finishes and textures to create a refined, all-American look. Effortless details and universal forms are woven together, forming approachable yet elegant fixtures for all interiors.

Introducing my CLASSICS lighting collection for @hudsonvalleylighting debuting in October at @highpointmarket . My favorite shape is a circle- it’s simple and modern, as well as, CLASSIC. So when I was designing my new lighting collection for Hudson Valley Lighting the circle shape inspired the details and the movement of the lights. There are spheres and curves throughout the collection. Ball screws, ball joints and finials, round backplates, and half domes are dominant, there and even perforated round openings in a few of the lights to cast beautiful light. The energy of a circle brings life to each light. The continuous never ending shape symbolizes openness by being both strong and soft. The detail and work that went into each light was thoughtful, and the results are simple and beautiful. These are lights that work anywhere and everywhere and lights you will want to use over and over again.
